Extras

I wear a lot of digital media hats — no task is too small or too big. I run large product redesigns and launches but also quick illustrations and data visualizations. I share my insights by teaching and writing articles about user experience and design thinking.

Fast Art

I produce quick photo-illustrations to break through stock image monotony. These are socially-optimized and original compositions designed to grab attention in social newsfeeds.

The above artwork is usually created in an hour while articles are written. They can be animated and resized for different social channels and video.

I previously worked at Newsweek. I was the art director and worked on everything from the AIDS crisis to Obama. I also was an integral part of Newsweek.com working on site architecture and web-only projects.

Please note a lot of my work is the result of a team effort. As the product design director I enable and steer the work. I have great people I recruited and worked with who make it all great -- including Adrienne Michalsky, Nick DeSantis and Sara Amato.
